Hey, friends! My name is Abbey. I’m not a fan of labels, but asked to summarize myself…I’m a former child and current creative based in Brooklyn and sometimes Cape Town, by way of the Midwest. I am storyteller with a focus on travel, fashion, culture, and commerce. My generational wealth is wanderlust, from my pilot father, I inherited a curiosity about the world (and a certain regional mobility). I am currently developing an editorial network and sharing more about what makes me curious as someone who collects hobbies and passport stamps. I bring a trend and SEO-informed perspective to my pitching, hands-on research to my writing, and always include original photography with my submissions.

Outside of editorial work and creative writing, I have been consulting as a trend soothsayer and creative strategist, crafting brand strategies, content creation, and website design through Oyster Creative since 2020.
